Service Description
Intended audience: front desk personnel, principals, assistant principals, teachers, athletic directors, team chairs, psychologists, department heads, directors, and guidance counselors. Attendees will: • Develop communication skills to navigate difficult people • Quell tempers and control the conversation • Master the art and science of conflict management • Learn the six elements of mastering difficult conversations • Employ deescalation techniques to specific situations • Recognize fear-based behavior and resistance • Apply explicit strategies to five difficult personality types • Practice difficult conversations and apply defusion strategies for the angry, passive-aggressive, or hostile adversary (parent, colleague, staff, boss, or student)
